I think Christmas has got to be one of the biggest game giving times of the year. Games unite families and friends. Can you name one person who doesn’t want a Hasbro game?
Well, there are a couple of fantastic games that will probably be on your list this year. Check ‘em out…
What Shot You Got?
This month, Cuponk was named to the Toys R Us “Hot Holiday Toy List” and the Kmart “Fab 15.” Not a bad way to start the holiday season! We’d like for you to try this hot game and tell us what you think! Cuponk challenges players to come up with custom trick shots to show their skills and land the ball in the Cuponk cup.
This is an AWESOME game. As soon as I read what it was about I knew
I personally my boys would want to play it. Oh yah, it was fantastic! We had to get inventive on how to do some of the shots because I have carpeting on the stairs.
My only concern is that the board that you use to go around the cup won’t last long because it goes off and on and is made of cardboard. Maybe something a bit more durable should be used. The expansion pack should include these or be sold in a pack separately. I just know how my boys play with their toys!
LOL Moments Shine
The giggles are uncontrollable when the Hasbro Girl Talk Games are out. These games are perfect for fun slumber parties and to keep those “lol moments” alive during the holiday season. Each Girl Talk game, including Dare Confetti, Sparkle Spots, and Sassy Sticks, gets girls and families talking, bonding, and laughing!
Ok, I have to admit to you I couldn’t get my boys to play this with me. I tried. I gave it the good ol’ “mom needs your help” plea, but it didn’t work.
I did check it out though and knowing my daughters, this would’ve been a game they enjoyed as pre-teens. Girls love to chat and giggle about topics such as “What I dream about”, “What I do at the mall”, and “What I put on an ice cream sundae.” There’s more to the game, but I don’t want to give the fun away. It could get very interesting to say the least.
If you are looking for some other great toy ideas here are a few suggestions from Hasbro:
•Twister Hoopla will bring fun and silliness to your Family Game Night as players become the Twister mat and use rings to connect body parts with other players to score points in the five ways to play this great new game.
•Bop-it! Bounce calls the shots and tests a player’s hand-eye coordination as they try to bounce a ball as fast or as high as the game instructs.
•Pop Goes Froggio gets the younger gamers in the house involved in the fun. Watch your preschoolers spread out the lily pads on your family room floor as they match pictures and launch their friend Froggio flying!
I mean, toothbrushes are perfect stocking stuffers. I use them every year! The cool thing about this SpinBrush is that you can personalize it! The Purell will be going to school with Doodle because it’s a germ fest there. In my house, colds are a staple in the winter so the Emergen-C will come in handy. Last but not least, the Dot Roller will be fantastic when it comes to wrapping gifts.
