My son, Buddy, is a tween. At least I think he is. Is 11 a tween? Crest Pro-Health FOR ME thinks he is and sent us a fantastic set for him to sink his teeth into.
No groaning allowed!
I have really tried to make the boys realize how important their oral health is and that it should be something they are concerned about.
Enjoying the process is more than half the battle. Crest knows that these tweens tastes are developing and they are moving them into older flavors. I tried them and loved it.
I have to tell you, I’m a bit addicted to the picks. They leave a fresh minty taste in your teeth after flossing. I love that.
Getting Buddy to use the rinse is a whole other story. He has some bad taste memories from another product he used that would show him where he missed and he found the taste disgusting. We can’t use his opinion in “taste” as a gauge.
Buddy thinks the toothpaste is just dandy and likes the taste of the floss picks. Unfortunately, I think he was overwhelmed with the taste of the rinse.
The other day, he said to me after he’d had something not so pleasant to eat, “That mouth rinse tastes 100 times better than what I just had!” Well, that’s a step in the right direction.
I asked my 7yo, Doodle, to try the mouthwash to see if it was across the board with my ultra picky boys. He was pretty hesitant with his big brother’s reaction! UGH But as you can see, we have a different opinion here!
I really like the designs that come with the Crest Pro-Health FOR ME set. They are very “today”. I’ll be getting my youngest their toothbrush on my next shopping trip!

Offer Choices
Have plenty of oral care supplies on hand for your kids and make sure they are in the flavors and designs they’ll be
excited to use.
Make it Count
Mornings are especially hard, your child may go in the bathroom and come out a mere 30 seconds later to declare that he or she has brushed. Make the process a little easier and ensure they are brushing for the proper amount of time by keeping a two minute timer in the bathroom, or by playing a song from their favorite singer for the two
minutes while they brush their teeth.
On the Go
If you are concerned your child might be missing certain spots while brushing before school or play, leave products like mouthwash in unexpected places, like the kitchen, for kids to use when they’re in a hurry.
Are you looking for some stocking stuffers? There are a couple of toothbrushes that would be perfect for stocking stuffers. That’s how I’ve used toothbrushes in the past!
Oral-B Pulsar Pro-Health FOR ME Toothbrush: Is a vibrating toothbrush and kids love the experience of using it and how it feels in their mouths. It features gentle vibrating bristles that help break up plaque between teeth for a deep clean and the pressure-sensitive split head adjusts to the contours of kids’ teeth to clean hard-to-reach places and gaps common in kids’ changing mouths, while also moderating the amount of pressure applied to teeth and gums.
Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME CrossAction Toothbrush: Features a combination of CrissCross® bristles and a Power Tip® to effectively reach and clean between sensitive gaps kids’ 8-12 experience. The handle is similar to an adult handle, but sized to optimally fit a tween’s hand for comfort and control.
Now it’s your turn to win a set!

ReplyDeleteI would like to try the toothpaste. My 8 year old doesn't like the typical "kid" flavors and everything else seems to be whitening, which I'm *not* convinced would be safe for an 8 year old!
