STRIDE Everyday Panties Review & Giveaway

image

INTRODUCING THE MOST ABSORBING FASHION INNOVATION SINCE THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS

STRIDE Everyday™ panties combine fashion with function to eliminate the need for pantiliners

New York, NY (May 18, 2010) – Women everywhere can relax a little when they laugh, cough, sneeze or run as a revolutionary new fashion staple hits stores. STRIDE Everyday has unveiled the first-ever underwear collection with patented technology built into the panty’s liner to offer discreet protection.

The complete STRIDE Everyday line includes five stylish options - from a Seamless panty to a Lacy Thong - providing an array of choices for women who want the freedom, comfort and confidence to wear their prettiest panties every day.

image

The STRIDE Everyday collection was launched in New York during an intimate briefing at The Plaza Hotel hosted by celebrity style expert and television personality Gretta Monahan, who was joined by STRIDE Everyday Founder and President Wendy Spencer, and Dr. Jill Rabin, M.D., urogynecologist and author of Mind Over Bladder.

“Research shows that most women will experience some sort of light leaks in their lifetime,” explains Spencer. “Whether it’s a new mom looking for a cost-effective solution that helps her feel like a woman again, or an avid runner looking for comfortable protection while she’s on the treadmill, STRIDE Everyday offers a range of solutions for all kinds of women.”
Patented Technology The machine-washable panties feature patented multi-layer fabric technology, designed to wick away and absorb up to an ounce of moisture, and naturally deodorize for a fresh feeling all day long. The inner liner is leakproof and breathable to protect the most stylish outfits from “accidents”, whether it’s sweating during hot yoga, walking in the park or wearing a slinky little black dress.

STRIDE Everyday panties, which are registered for Class One FDA clearance, are also environmentally-responsible and wallet friendly. Explains Spencer: “our research shows that STRIDE Everyday can save women more than $125 per year, compared to daily disposable pantiliner usage*. They can also help reduce the billions of disposable pads and pantiliners sent to landfill every year.”

Free of seams, waistband or leg elastic, the Seamless panty is STRIDE Everyday’s most popular offering, providing discreet protection - eliminating the need for both pantiliners and panty lines.

MY REVIEW

Ok, that was a lot of information about panties. But seriously, these aren’t your everyday panties.

I received the Sport Bikini to try out!

The Sport Bikini has a lower, sporty profile for active wear and is designed to fit smoothly and securely. Plus, the soft fabric and clean finish mean you hardly know you’re wearing them.
Colors: Nude, Black, Black Print, Coral Print, Mauve Print Sizes: XS to XL

When I put them on the first time I realized I ordered the wrong size. Honestly, what gal doesn’t think she’s smaller than she is? I wear a size 5 and ordered a small. Should’ve gone with a medium. So, if you purchase a pair, make sure of the size you want!

Ok, lets talk details! The panty itself feels and fits like a bathing suit. The crotch is pink and feels like terry cloth and “thicker” than what you would expect. I was a bit suspicious about how they would feel in the crotch area.

I have to be honest with you here (as if I’d be anything but). I didn’t find them to be bulky or uncomfortable. It wasn’t noticeable in the “feel” which I was so relieved about.

Aside from me choosing a too small size, I really liked the fit and comfort.

The test came in after Aunt Flo showed up at the end of August. A week after is when I ovulate and to me it’s noticeable. That was what I wanted to test these panties for. Let me just say, the STRIDE panty did what it says it will do!

Now, you might be wondering why you’d want a pair of STRIDE panties aside from the comfort.

Well, personally, I’ve had 4 kids. That means my poor bladder and pelvic muscles have been through a LOT!

I’m hopping up on a soapbox really quick. Kegels, lets talk about the importance of them. When you are pregnant, you probably hear about Kegels a lot. If you haven’t heard of Kegels, it’s when you tighten the pelvic muscles. It keeps them “in shape” so when you get older, you might be able to control your urine and avoid leakage. So, to exercise those muscles, stop your urine as you’re going to the bathroom. Then release. I do them when I remember.

Alrighty I’m off my soapbox.

I would apologize for not having personal photos for this review, but I’m actually doing you a favor! You should probably be thanking me.

STRIDE as featured in SHAPE Are you a sweater? Whether you sweat when you exercise or just sweat because of life, STRIDE Everyday panties would be a good solution in this area!

STRIDE Everyday panties range in price from $19.99 to $24.99

imageWendy Spencer is the passion behind the brand. While training during and after her pregnancy Wendy was surprised, like many women, to realize that she had developed light incontinence.

imageShe was even more surprised to discover that there really weren't any discreet, comfortable or stylish solutions to cope with light leaks. This was extraordinary given that roughly 1 in 4 women suffer from light incontinence -- small urinary leaks when one coughs, laughs or jumps.

You’ve been so patient learning about these awesome panties! Ready to win a pair?
